Are U Kidding??

Sememangnya amat menyedihkan untuk menghadapi rutin2 yg predictable..bagi sarapan dan minum pagi  adalah rutin untuk menikmatinya di pantri ward.Suasananya yg 'cliche' yang tidak pernah cuba untuk berubah menjadikannya suatu stereotype yang memualkan. Setiap pagi (even lunch n dinner), pemandangan di bawah adalah suatu fenomena biasa di pantri.

Bayangkan..what the hell!! we serve.. then the patients did not eat it.we throw it.daily 24-7...for even years..and years. im not sure how much we waste our budget on this.Hampir 50% makanan yang dihidangkan akan melalui kitar nasib yang hampir sama..(maybe some will bring it back..to be fed to their kittens/chickens etc)..But it could be this to be proceeded with...

Then..Here they are...in the bin.of course. :(

Satu ketika masyarakat dunia hampir2 lupa kesengsaraan jiran/saudara di Afrika..masyarakat kita pula kelihatan amat jauh dari maklumat perubahan bentuk sosial dan demografi dunia..(sebab itu asyik membazir je makanan.).

Realiti kehidupan di negara-negara Afrika memang jelas kabur dari pandangan dan ingatan kita sekiranya perbuatan di atas menjadi amalan sehingga hari ini.

Pengurusan yang agak kurang peka..??

Namun persoalan-persoalan di atas sememangnya disediakan tanpa memerlukan jawapan..Kerana menjadi suatu rutin untuk pihak hospital meneruskan rutin yang sama...then sama..then sama..

Tidak dinafikan sesetengah pesakit yang datang dari kepompong kemiskinan berkebarangkalian besar tidak akan melakukan perkara di atas..Namun demikian perlu dipertimbangkan bahawa seringkali masakan dan hidangan yang disediakan adalah sukar untuk memenuhi standard palate( dengan rasa dan tekstur yang agak membosankan juga perlu di ambil kira).

Pihak hospital seharusnya sangat peka.(try la buat macam IJN, sekurang-kurangnya makanannya palatable dan tidak membazir walaupun dikenakan bayaran yang agak mahal-still affordable perhaps.). walaupun ianya tidak adil bagi mereka yang tidak berkemampuan, namun alternatifnya masih ada bagi pengurusan fikirkan.

Semoga Ramadhan kita kali ini kita berjaya merubah semangat suka membazir kita..seperti biasa i ll leave you to judge : the above problem occurred in a ward ..(in fact it is occurring).. daily.Please take note, how many wards do we have in a hospital..and how many hospitals we have in Malaysia-n still counting..?)

Sempena bulan ramadhan yg bakal tiba : Rata2 kita start risau rutin makan2 kita bakal berubah baik makan pagi/petang or siang/malam.Proses.menjiwai Ramadhan dari sudut kerohanian kadagkala adalah misi yang agak mencabar abgi sesetengah individu termasuk diri insan lemah seperti aku..di sebalik terjelmanya Ramadhan adalah seringkala diwaktu nafsu belum bersedia..

It's so goooood to celebrate an every single day of the Holy month of Ramadhan,thus i would like to share an epic sermon of Prophet Muhammad PBUH as he delivered it upon the arrival of Ramadhan.

Hadrat Salman (RA) reports that on the last day of Sya'aban, Rasulullah addressed the Sahabah saying "O people! A great and blessed month is dawning upon you. It is a month that includes a day that is better than a thousand months. Allah has made fasting compulsory in this month and standing in Tarawikh salaah an act of tremendous merit. Whoever carries out an act of virtue during this month will receive the reward of carrying out a Fardh during any other month and whoever carries out a Fardh act during this month will receive the reward of carrying out seventy Fardh acts during any other month. It is a month of patience and the reward of patience is Jannah.It is also a month of sympathy and a month of sustenance of a mu'min is increased.Whoever provides something for a fasting person to terminate his fast shall receive the reward of the fasting person without his reward being diminished in the least ".

Ramadhan is coming..so welcome it with your families/friends.

Rasulullah PBUH said "Ramadhan is arriving so welcome it. Take note that on the first night of Ramadhan there is not a soul from the people of the qibla who is not forgiven"..

We are we now?are we gonna miss the boat again..persiapkan lah diri kita kerana usia kita semakin hari semakin menyusut..Kejarla rahmat Tuhan selagi masa masa berpihak kepada kita..Renung2kn dan Amalkn bersama..

Rentetan Mabul-Kapalai-SempornA 2.0 : to cut it short , kami habiskn sisa2baki2 percutian di daratan,kecuali kami memilih utk mengekplorasi bumi yg terdedah kepada ancaman lanun sepanjang tahun ini dengan lebih dekat.Secara kasarnya, bumi SempornA adalah pekan kecil yang masih baru dgn kependudukan yang padat disebabkan masalah migrasi yang hampir mustahil dibendung..

Rata-rata peluang pekerjaan yang terdapat di sini agak mengelirukan tetapi kesibukan warga pekan dengan pelbagai latarbelakang mencorakkan atmosfera yang kadang-kala memeningkan.

Melangkah masuk ke wet market sempornA tidak banyak perbezaan ketara berbanding pasar2 di semenanjung kecuali di sini hasil lautnya adalah dagangan paling biasa dan utama.

sekiranya travel dengan bajet yang rendah, bagi menikmati seafood bakar ianya boleh didapati di kedai yang terdapat di pasar bahagian tengah(ala2 food court tp kebersihannya memang menjadi tanda tanya..soal harga toksah cakapla berbanding kedai2 biasa yang cantik n bersih).

Sekiranya di malam hari di hadapan masjid akan ada deretan kedai seafood bakar ala locals, sangat xsusah nak beli since the price is made simple for u : rm5/7/10 depending on size and of course the smallest size looked so significantly big enough for us.

Berada di tempat orang walaupun di bumi Malaysia adalah xsemudah disangka, bantuan 'member' setempat sekiranya ada amatlah berharga terutama di lokasi yang rata2nya berkomunikasi dengan bahasa yang amat berbeza. Hari terkahir kami di sini banyak dibantu Munap..thank you Munap. Next location was Bukit Tengkorak, yang pada mulanya hampir dibatalkan disbbkn Munap terlewat (he got strong reason from doing so..).

it was a brilliant decision to go to Bukit Tengkorak..since it is so panoramic.Kawasan kajian geografi ini adalah agak sunyi daripada pelancong (good for us..) most likely disebabkan kurangnya promosi (most tourists attracted more by the surroundings islands..i think so).Apa yang menjadikannya menarik adalah tinggalan letusan gunung berapinya membentuk lembah berbatu dan padang menghijau...sejuk mata memandang.

kesimpulannya, percutian anda boleh dikatakan tidak lengkap sekiranya tidak melawat Pusat Archeological Bukit Tengkorak.(of course you would be more luckier as in future-soon,very soon-the museum will be open for the excavated stuffs to be exhibited there..the building looks quite impressive).


OK..for the last chapter of our vacation..i would like to share our 'lonely planet' moment : lawatan ke Palau' community and Kampung Bangau2(kampung Munap).
** Palau' is said to be a community which is originally from southern Mindanao/Sulu - in fact everybody is considered as nobody -they got no ID (but as one's says : Our differences define us, but our common humanity can redeem us..we just have to open our heart-tQ Nani AM yg memetik dr Karen Amstrong...hehheeh).

3 great experiences we obtained here :
1. The houses are highly disorganized with a potential dangers are around you most of the time especially the bridge.
2. Too many peoples causing overcrowding of course creates more social problems.
3. Kids are the one who affected most..

so, enjoy the picturesque photos here : it is not as bright as it should delight your eyes..but this is the real situation here..

An original me

Rancangan hampir setahun usianya yang direncanakan..utk melawat Mabul, Kapalai dan Sipadan akhirnya tertunai..dgn pembelian tiket AirAsia yg dibuat pada Sept 2010 lagi..kami berlepas ke Tawau.walaupun fokus sebenar adalah bagi menikmati keindahan alam marin namun ekskavasi sosiogeografi penduduk di sana menjadi antara impian utama (sorry Hisam..huhuhuhu).

2 jam 40 minit : tiba di Tawau pada jam 2140H, then kami menginap di Bandar Tawau di Walikatao Budget Hotel (rm65/room  : single queen size bed , not so bad since it was just an overnight stay),tapi sebenarnya option ke 2 anda juga boleh terus ke Pekan semporna dgn taxi (bayaran Rm95/taxi) bagi mengelakkan pembaziran masa di Tawau yang hampir tiada tarikan yang spesifik(ikhlas ni)..As a result, we travelled by bus to Semporna the next moning (earliest trip was 0730H which costs you rm10/person : luckily it was so comfortable as the staffs were so helpful , credits to Manis express staffs-45 mins).

Di bawah terik matahari Semporna again we wandered around aimlessly till we stopped at Hameed Firdaous restaurant (opposite to Shell) : pakcik Hameed the one who introduced us to Uncle Chang's package office(thanks for the 4WD ride). Since we missed the morning trip to Mabul,we got no choice : we have to stay in nearby hotel.Dragon Inn adalah hotel paling dekat dgn jeti, in fact we are so thrilled with so called "stilt houses style"-listed as 2*

Oleh kerana subuh pukul 0430H jd xder masalah utk kami bsiapsedia ke pulau by 0730H, trip seterusnya ke Mabul Island..by boat Uncle Chang (it is included in the package : Rm150/person Inclusive of stay 2D1N+freeflow foods with breakfast,lunch n dinner+snorkeling to Kepalai n Mabul, unfortunately Sipadan entry was fully booked till Sept(for me as technically im not a good swimmer-i dont know how to swim even-this is totally NOT a bad news,but the bad news was : a fact that they are no rooms available anymore except we have to share a hostel-like room with 4 beds+1 extra mattress.(a bit stuffy during afternoon with a scorching sun-jeles tengok resort lain yg nampak lagi "kepualaun"..huhuhu..cuma suatu yang amat beruntung utk mendapat hidangan fresh seafoods for the lunch and dinner..this really made this trip worthwhile : bangga la tu Hisam).
Aktiviti seterusnya adalah "snorkeling"
by 1130H after ate our breakfast : bertolak terus dgn bot ke Kepalai utk snorkeling, i didnt know it's so difficult to snorkel..huhuhu..luckily ada pelampung disebabkan life-jacketnya mmg xberfungsi.and of course nasib baik pihak pengurusan sediakan pembantu bagi orang-orang macam aku.since we missed the boat for the Mabul at 1400H, we decided to go for the next morning trip.(Again,i realized snorkeling is totally a monkey business for me..i wont push myself for it..i was totally dependent the moment i stepped into the water provided the level is just as deep as my height).

even the life jackets look so bright.DONT be fooled.

 

satu lagi yg aku rasa pihak pengurusan Uncle Chang overlooked adalah keperluan pelancong minoriti macam aku, since "life is short",i dont want to die from drowning- of course.but the provided life jackets seemed so less helpful (helpless kasor sgt),they couldnt be zipped up, etc. Mungkin bagi yang pakar macam budak2 ni xperla (they defined kepakaran with multi-answers in which by experience Syed paling pakar?? and as a Guru .. Hisam is his best student-huhuhu..

pantang menjejak kaki ke jetty memang port paling kami suka adalah cafeterianya : sbb bekalan makanan xpernah terputus and makanan lunch and dinnernya membuatkan kami xperlu lagi tergila2 nak mencari seafood di semporna(tQ for the free lunch from the considerate managing team even though we technically have already checked the next day).

Tips : sekiranya anda terpijak Mespilia Globulus : sea urchin sprt anak murid paling pakar snorkel ni, first DO NOT PANIC, since the great news is, it is NOT poisonous and it will spontaneously resolved by Day 2 of event (wait and see, and do not think much is the key of treatment, no need to pee onto it).

see closely with your doctor's eyes at the 2nd and 4th toes.

sesuatu, yg juga kira berharga utk menginap disini adalah ianya sangat berdekatan dengan masjid pulau Mabul (if u are not dreaming enough u can hear the azan calls 5 times daily : we used to go to the mosque as it was so close to our room, the walking distance is less than 5 minutes walk,thru the titi connected to the hotel).

--next chapter-- as we have seen the great part of the nature which told to be at its best..we decided to see the locals..and of course my focus was the children..since "they never outgrow their spirits"

doktor pakar : mak dia, mak dia jgn nangis dulu..sbb kadang2kita xtau apa yg tersimpan dlm khazanah Allah utk kita..sy tahu ni dugaan utk kita..tp mak dia kena terima hakikat yg amin(bukan nama sebenar) mmg ada ketumbuhan otak.

mak amin : tp doktor...airmata mmg xdpt ditakung lagi..

doktor pakar : tp mak dia , kita jgn cepat putus asa, kita xtahu yg anak kita mungkin lg kuat dr yg kita sangka..kids are a good fighter'..kalo boleh jgn kita lemah semangat..

mak amin : tapi doktor..terus berjujuran lg airmata..dia masih kecik doktor, kalau tuhan ganti dgn nyawa sy pun saya sanggup doktor..(kiamat kecil petang ni bg mak)..

doktor pakar: jodoh,maut and rezki mak dia semua di Tangan tuhan..kita xpasti,tp sy pernah tengok yg ada pesakit selepas pembedahan masih pulih wpun bukan normal 100%, at least tangan sebelah masih kuat, dpt berjalan wpun sebelah anggota diheret..tp nyawa masih panjang dan boleh hidup..

mak amin :  mmm...terus menangis...

doktor pakar : tp mak dia jgn pulok terlalu optimis dgn menganggap semua boleh setel dgn pembedahan,kerana apa yg kita buat adalah usaha yang terbaik selebihnya kita serah pada Tuan Punya Yang Esa..
