kembara indochina 1.1 : Angkor wHat?..A great ancient megastructure..

Day 2 : 28/09/2011..malam sebelumnya memang kami berdoa semoga panas(diramalkn hujan oleh peramal kaji cuaca) di bumi khmer ini memberi peluang utk kami meneroka sejarah gemilang ANGKOR..luckily pagi tu sesudah subuh kami bertolak kesana semata2 nak melihat mentari pagi berlatarbelakangkan Angkor Wat..

Actually..ANgkor Wat is not the first temple built for the Gods...but it is the most well preserved n the least ruined (compared with other complexes..)..suasana syuruk hari itu penuh jugak dgn tourist termasukla Angelina Jolie Cambodia yg kami jumpa..

Berbekalkan 'tapau'-ed sarapan pagi dari hotel yg begitu memahami..kami melangkah dgn penuh semangat.Sesungguhnya cuaca hari tu pun memihak pada kami untuk memberikan sinar harapan melihat satu keajaiban dunia...(nasib baik xpercaya ramalan).

I dont know how to start with.. to tell u guys- what it is exactly so great about this monument..but i can tell u that seeing is believing.(sayang kami hanya sempat pi few hours sahaja..sbb pas masuk 1 day only)..if u would like to study the history(ies) behind it..it is impossible for me to write it down here(blh beli buku kat sekeliling temple yg dijual lagi murah..(it will tell you Apsaras,nagas,Makaras,demons and gods,etc)

So nikmatila..beberapa shot di bawah..xberapa cantik sgt sbb kebanyakan masa kami terpegun dengan bahagian2 yang cantik n xmenghiraukannya utk mengambil gambar..

Berdebar menunggu mentari syuruk pagi tu..berembun.

OK.,.ok dah sampai part yang lagi penting..matahari dh nak naik..(kebanyakan tourist amik port so called kononnya the best spot which is few yards in front of the left wing of the temple..but for us we decided to enjoy our breakfast at the left wing Library..)

Perut pun dh berisi sikit..walaupun xberapa nak kenyang..kecuali ada org tu makan 3 biji telur..2 biji pisang..kalah orang Cambodia makan...time to get into the "mount Meru- where the Gods dwell"..

the temple..(sedihnya some of them are majorly collapsed and replaced by a cement type one.)

An epic..into a legend..n then a belief..

Never..in history of an ancient civilization tells a great story of them as good as Khmer civilization.

Rasanya ni jerla gambo2..untuk episod kali ini..nantikan pengembaraan seterusnya...sebab susah nak tulis panjang2 cukupla setakat ni..sekadar sedutan utk episod akan datang terimala :
